Welcome to Our Simple Family Living!

We’re so glad you stopped by. We’re Josh, Nadine and our four precious children.

They are the cutest, sweetest, silliest bunch and we love them deeply! Our lives would be so boring without them. The hugs and kisses, the smiles, the laughter …oh and don’t forget about the shenanigans and the MESS! Haha!

Want to know a little more about our family?

We have a bit of a motto in our home…here it goes:

Faith. Family. Simple.

We are passionate about our faith in CHRIST.

“For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting” John 3:16

While we fall short daily, we are striving to live our life as husband and wife, as well as raise our children according to the BIBLE’s teaching.

“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23

“Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord” Ephesians 6:4

“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it” Proverbs 22:6

Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court” Psalm 127:3-5

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her” Ephesians 5:25

“Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord” Colossians 3:18

This precious family GOD has blessed us with while we are here on Earth, is our number one priority (after GOD). Our marriage and our children are a gift from the LORD that we are to cherish and grow.

Modern life has become so busy and complicated. It seems the more “convenient” and “advanced” things become, the more stressful and unenjoyable life becomes. We’re striving (as a family) to take it back to the more simple life. Think homemade food around the family table. Lots crafts and DIY’s. Schooling together as a family. Growing our own food as much as this season of life allows. Living in a smaller cozier space and being good stewards of all that we’re given.

We hope you’ll join us on this adventure we’re on! 🙂
